CCCS offers a program of academic excellence. A sound program that fosters academic excellence is not a goal at CCCS, it is the norm. In our quickly evolving society, the future holds realities that we cannot even imagine. Students of today will eventually work at jobs yet to be invented. We cannot prepare students for an unknown future, therefore, we teach them to be problem-solvers; we challenge them to think critically and creatively. We enable students to intellectually compete with others and to gain competence and confidence in their approach to work. We teach them to communicate clearly, appropriately and cogently. School-wide scores on the IOWA Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) provide evidence of a strong curricular program. CCCS students’ scores across all grades and subjects compare favorably when compared to other students in the diocese and in the Province of Florida, which encompasses all Catholic schools in the state.
The competence and readiness of teachers is outstanding. All CCCS teachers are qualified and certified by the State of Florida. These teachers dedicate themselves to the formation of children with great fervor and diligence.
